New York, Philly, Baltimore, Washington D.C. Part One.

So, I have been a bit absent lately. Sorry about that.
I have been recovering from a particularly awesome trip that I took with some of my most favorite people! The Turner family.
Whenever I go on trips with this family things are always a bit different. Different meaning so much fun.
We started off our trip on Friday, March 26th.
Flight to New York.
Some sketches from the flight.

We then waited for their son, Jordan, to arrive. He lives in North Carolina with his Mom and Step-Dad so he flew up separately.
While we waited for him to arrive, I sketched.
(A little shout out to Mignola)

That night, after Jordan joined us, we had some New York style pizza. This was at about eleven o' clock, so obviously, sleep came next.
Saturday
We did a lot of sight seeing... And walking.

We ate at this place called "Peanut Butter & Co." which specializes in, you guessed it, peanut butter meals.

My choice was the "Jerry Seinfeld Comedy Special" (Hence the laughter)
Ingredients: Peanut butter, honey, and cinnamon all on a toasted bagel. Perfection. Ironically, not that funny though...

Jordan got the Elvis Presley Special.
Ingredients: Peanut butter, Banana, honey, and bacon all wedged between two slices of toasted bread. Delicious, or so I'm told.
Moving on!

We later got to see a whole bunch of street performers in the park.
One piano player was our favorite. He wheels that piano onto the subway!

That night we went and selected cupcakes at "Crumbs" to eat on Sunday afternoon. To break our fast with them. Yeah, we thought ahead.

After that, however, we had our minds blown away by "Stomp"
Really awesome show!

(I'm sure the poses are very confusing in this picture... Well, that's how it must remain... It is incredibly hard to describe over a blog)

More to come from this exciting trip!

P.S.
I hope you like the new setup.

2 Loves:

  1. Looks like you had a blast. I'm jealous;) We missed you;) I've heard STOMP is awesome.
