Okay, I won't be talking about all of those. I mean, I guess I could talk about beets but, what's to talk about. And as for Battlestar Galactica... I don't really know.... I view this show the way I view the Jonas Brothers. I can see the appeal. I understand why people like them. I'm not going to take them away from you. I just don't care.
But I digress...
I really want to talk about Bears.
I absolutely love bears. I'm not talking about teddy bears or baby bears. I'm talking about big adult bears.
It is no secret that I love bears. I have an obsession with bears. Grizzly's, black bears, brown bears, sun bears... I love them! Now, you're probably wondering. "Why does Mason love bears so much?" To which I respond "Shut your mouth and sit down. I was getting to that. Stop jumping the gun. Is this the blogger I raised...? An impatient one?!"
Well there is a simple answer to this question.
I have a dream that bears will one day act like dogs. I know, I know, never gonna happen. I just love the thought.
Wouldn't you love it if you came home everyday to this massive ball of fur that is just so happy to see you? Or if you woke up every morning to this giant lump at the bottom of your bed? Wouldn't you love to walk around your neighborhood with a giant grizzly at the end of your leash?
I would love to cuddle up to something as big as this. Have it warm my feet on a cold winters night while I watch Elf. Jump in the pool with it on a hot summers day and splash away for hours. Give it baths. Take it to the pet store and show him off.
I've already named mine. His name is Oliver "Olly" Duncan. We play a lot.
Except when he sleeps.
Well, sorry for my weirdness. Just thought I would share my fantasy with you...

Bears are masses of awesome. Just last Sunday I watched a Nature special on Bears and Wolves (both animals of which I love) and those bears are just massive! That would be so awesome to have one that does all the things you described. It made me think of a special I watched about a guy who trained a huge grizzly for movies. The bear's name was Bart, but I can't remember the handler's name. I think it was a special about the movie "The Bear" (which, if you haven't seen, you must: a beautiful piece of filmmaking and stars bears). Anyways, this guy is training Bart for the stunts in the movie and he's totally wrestling with this mass of bear. It was so cool.
ReplyDeleteYour drawings so rock. Thanks for the fun read.
